“In terms of the bonus that corporate America received versus the crumbs that they are giving to workers to kind of put the schmooze on — it’s so pathetic,” she told reporters Thursday. “I think it’s insignificant.”

Back in 2011, however, Pelosi was singing a different tune – praising a $40 payroll tax cut passed by President Obama as “a victory for all Americans” that will “make a difference.”

She is such a damn political hack and hypocrite. The Democratic Party doesn't give a damn about the people in this country. What's really sad is the people who blindly follow the Democrats, believe every word from their mouths, and vote for them at the polls are too damn stupid to realize they are being played. It would be nice for the sheeple to open their minds for a change and realize that.
 
The Dems just can't stop with the politics of envy and divisiveness.

Ummmmm lets see.... $480 dollars ($528 in today's dollars) a year more from my company, or $1000.... which one makes more difference to me? Plus I won't be penalized with increased taxes by the government for not buying insurance I can't afford. Hmmmm wonder which plan gives me more money in my pocket the 2011 Dem, or 2018 Rep?

I will say... there is no one on the Republican side who can come out and sell it like Nancy! "We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it,"

The Dems have a message and they lead with that message anytime they get an opportunity to have the cameras record them. The Republicans have never been adept at staying on one talking point. The herd mentality of Dems also is seen in their politicians.

What I have a hard time with is that people don't understand that corp don't pay taxes anyway. No matter what you tax them, they pass it on to the customers. So WE pay all the taxes no matter what. What is so hard about that?

Some types of corporations pay taxes. Others, such as an LLC pass tax liabilities to the owners.

But you're right that in the majority of cases, the customer pays for it one way or another.

Most of the Democrat's loyal base are union, blue collar, in the entitlement system, or just too stupid to know better; so they are not aware of this. And that's why they buy the crappola from people like Pelosi.
