The real reason is because Lindell is a major Trump supporter.

The left's latest narrative is that there was absolutely no evidence of election fraud, and that's simply not true. There's plenty of evidence, it's just that Trump's lawyers couldn't make any of it stick or judges just didn't want to take it up.
