Minneapolis push to defund police backfires after residents complain of slow response times, increase in crime

I wondered how long that would take. I hear Atlanta PD is having difficulty recruiting officers because some surrounding jurisdictions have better pay, benefits and they support their law enforcement officers. Cobb used to support their police, but now with a majority-minority board of commissioners and a new black sheriff, I look for morale to trend lower and a flight of decent officers who'll be replaced with diversity hires. We all know how that turns out.
 
How are all those "social workers" helping decrease crime, like we heard about all effing summer, as they rioted and terrorized our cities calling for defunding the police and using social workers instead?

I like this comment below, and think of my 22 year old employee that left to become a bartender... who said, "Now they are listening." :rolleyes2:


The left is reactive without reflection and politically is similar how the under 25 population is considered by car rental agencies. They lack the minimum inhibition of thoughts before acting and are prone to decisions with consequences of property damage or loss of life.
