It was a bipartisan defeat for $15 minimum wage in the Senate. The vote tally was 58-42. Seven Dems and one left-leaning independent voted against the measure. Once the Senate passes a stimulus bill, it will be interesting to see what the House does since it won't contain a minimum wage increase. Right now they're harping on how this needs to get finished quickly before unemployment benefits run out. This will be fun to watch.

Good. Let the states deal with it. The Cost of living in the various states are way off from each other, a one size fits all wage is a dumb idea.

A minimum wage simply decrees at what level of skill a person is employable.
