Call them senior moments, mental glitches or simple forgetfulness, many people have experienced the mental slowdown that can come with age.

New research finds that these cognitive slips can begin as early as age 45. But whether they are the result of dementia, cardiovascular disease or simply getting older is not clear...

Did we really need a study to tell us this? :)) :))

There may be something to this because it's my belief I've been 29 for so long merely because I keep forgetting to turn 30.

Sticky notes= an aging person's best friend!

I couldn't function without my calendar and my sticky notes. :D

Actually, no study was needed for this. Doctors have known this for years. When I worked in the nursing home, we called it "forgotten keys syndrome". You know, where you put your car keys down, but can't remember where. Jeez...what a waste of money.

I volunteered in many nursing homes and you are right. I would laugh at the nurses and doctors because I swear some were worse than the patients. :laugh

Once, I spent five minutes tearing the house apart looking for car keys and I was in a hurry. I found them in my hand.
