I deleted some people from my FB friends, yesterday someone "liked" a post, when I hovered over it, it said, "no one currently likes this post". :laugh :laugh :laugh

It does that when you block someone. I would never block anyone, even if I did not agree with them, (I have unfriended, just not blocked) you never know what they might be saying to others and by blocking you can't see it. :dunno

I've blocked only one person and couldn't care less what they say to others. :dunno.

I have seen a few different situations and one was an unfriended(A) person said something to a mutual friend, but the one (B) that unfriended her did not see what she had posted and it was a big issue. If B would have seen what A posted she might not have stuck her foot in her mouth. ) Just one instance, I have seen others.

(Totally understand there are situations that warrant blocking (stalking, strangers, and such), but most are just petty, childish, that they can instances.)

I have a couple blocked. I have learned I don't need drama and negativity hanging around all the time. It works for me, some people are not really friends anyway so why would I even suggest they might be?? :dunno

I have a couple that use very foul language, they aren't really a friend to me. I've asked many to be careful, I have lots of kids that are friends with me, I don't want them to see that stuff. If I ask you nicely and you still do it, I'll probably unfriend you and maybe even block you.

Then there are the folks that never comment on my page, they're just nosy............so unfriend it is. I used to have a problem deleting someone but like I said, I want people like me, tolerate most family, and those that I like to cut up with as friends. It's just not a big deal to me.

Like I said, I just found it amusing the way FB handles it. It made me chuckle.

Yeah, I have one like that. Good guy, just an extreme potty mouth. I rarely post to his threads because of it.

Aside from that person, I've been somewhat selective about who I friended. I don't invite or approve just anyone.

As for the ones you state are just nosy, how would you know? With how FB does things I have certain friends I speak with daily that I randomly get their news feeds, and others that I never talk to but the news feed shows their posts. It is odd how fb does things.
