SO little ms Unionmom told me about a job and I checked it out today. I took them my resume and they interviewed me right there and want me to meet with another person and will be in touch for a 2nd interview.

It is in insurance and I would have to get licensed


any one ever work in Insurance and now all the pros and cons lol
 
if they ask for references I will tell them everyone on the HWY lol

Lawd, NV , I might scare them off with my witty humor lol

My brother sells health/life in TN and does very, very well. If you can deal with the massive amounts of paperwork and regulations without tearing your hair out, you should do fine. I personally would hate it, but I don't like paperwork and you do (you freak! :D ). I'm sure a lot would depend on the agent and company you're working for, but a good assistant would be worth her weight in gold to a good agent.

I'll bet it's to do some more stuff with the Tyler Perry movie she's in. I didn't click on the article, however, as I was already alarmed at the rate my IQ was falling. ;)
 
There is a lot of grunt work when you first get into the insurance industry but you can build a really nice income/career/life with insurance. If my kids were older, I'd be all over it. (I've already received a number of offers but just can't do it now.) Your personality is likely to be a huge plus for you which is likely why they're interested in talking to you more. Are they willing to help you get your license?

That's what my brother has found. And the licensing stuff and regulations aren't hard...they're just...tedious. I hate tedious.
