Shoes!!!!
Anyone heard from her? I have not seen her post and hoping all is well in her neck of the woods. :pray

I wasn't sure if someone was friends with her outside the board and might know. I am right with you on hoping it is just the power/internet.

Praying she is okay, too! Even though the news isn't giving as much attention to all the hurricane affected areas now, they are dealing with a lot of issues. My cousin-in-law lives in New Jersey, and some of the pictures she has posted are unbelievable!

JR, hopefully, can reach her! Miss you, Kattie! It's Tuesday, time for your weekly questions.

We used to talk on the phone about once a year, but I've misplaced her number. I hope all is well, Sis :'(

I'm baaaack! :DN I have missed y'all!

We had sustained winds of 40 to 60 mph from 10am to 10pm Saturday nite. Our rain gauge holds 6" and it was over flowing. We got a lot more wind and rain than was expected. We lost power at 6:30pm Sat. nite and just got it back at 2:30pm today.

I thank God for His protection over us. I did go thru this one by myself again b/c my husband didn't get home till 3am Sun. morning. Richmond has a lot more trees than the coast does so there were lots of trees down. Our neighbor's had a tree uproot (b/c of rain soaked ground) and go into their newly built workshop and it snapped our power lines.

We received no damage. We lost some food but did manage to get dry ice & ice for the freezers. We have a gas stove so I was able to cook and the temperatures have been marvelous.

Thanks to each of you who prayed and sent us good thoughts. That means so much to me! I just feel so totally blessed! :love
