Just got another...

Friday night we had so much rain and wind that one of my 8-ft.-tall sunflowers was snapped off at the stake that was holding it up, and one of my tomato plants, along with the cage it was in, was knocked down. What a freak thing, and when I looked up the weather online, it said no rain in Acworth. ::)
The rain we got on Sat. night knocked all of out tomato plants down...BBG and I were out in the rain restaking and tying them back up. We lost several tomatoes. :(

I'm still in Cleveland trying to finish this deck. It rained here late yesterday afternoon. Now i have to wait for it to finish drying out before I can remove the last of the paint. This project is taking forever and it's mostly because of the rain we have been getting here.

Y'all should come here. It will be raining all weekend because of the Tropical Storm. One of the tracks has it right over Savannah toward the end of the week. It has rained all spring long. At least we shouldn't have the big fires this summer.

We overplanted because we expected only about half to take, but they all took, so we are now over crowded. We lost quite a few, but we still have a ton...hopefully they start to ripen soon though because our garden is being held up by twine....a lot of twine!

I think you live fairly close to me. I'm off Ridge at the 92 end.

I just realized that I live in between SD and GD - y'all please pray for me! :faint

Mine, too. I use crochet leftovers, so my tomatoes are being held up very...colorfully.
