I'm here to spin the moral compass.
It's HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS DAY!! My sweet princess is five years old today. I decided to let her sleep in a little and then take her to school (she LOVES to make an entrance). We stopped by Wal-Mart to grab treats for school and she literally told everyone she saw that today is her birthday and that she is now a 5 year old - she's very impressed with her age. :))

So, stop all of this Valentine's Day nonsense, stay home tonight, and put the flowers away -- the Princess has issued a royal decress that Valentine's Day has been officially cancelled.

Yes, nephew will be 5 in March, and it's a Very Big Deal. He's wanted to be grown since he was born, though. :D

Yep, the princess has been under the assumption that she is grown for some time now.... :D
 
There's a really cute book by Jamie Lee Curtis called "It's Hard to Be 5". Cute book. I got it for my son at 5.

Thanks y'all. The birthday festivities officially concluded this morning after the princess's 5 year old check up and then breakfast at McDonald's. Now, I need a nap..... :sleep
