I get what you are saying and in a normal situation I would say no, but nothing about Trump being the R nominee is normal. I think he responded as Trump would (which I agree was not the way to respond) because he is really not used to people not "yes sir, no sir, what do you need sir"-ing him. He is used to what he says goes and no one comes after him because he turns around and comes after you harder. He needs a mute button. It is definitely something he must work on, but HB has a very valid point that the news is insane right now with anti Trump and the amount of time spent on him.

I do not see Trump or the news changes courses. :dunno:

Agreed about the insane news but that would be the case with any republican nominee. It wouldn't be about these stupid things because most normal republicans (or people) wouldn't say the things that Trump says but it would be about something else. This is nothing new...it happens every election so I'm not sure why it should be a surprise that the media is in the tank for the democrats this year.
 
The media is always in the tank for Hillary. Trump however is doing the job for them . Today he said he "is not ready to endorse Paul Ryan". Doesn't even need a gun to shoot himself in the foot. It's like his job is to alienate every demographic possible including his "own" party.

Absolutely not the point. Trump needs to keep his pie hole shut and start talking about Hillary and her horrible record instead of trashing the parents of war dead, babies, ex candidates, and other Republicans if he wants even a small chance of pulling this election out of his ass. He couldn't try harder to alienate every voter possible.

Well said!! I think Trump's problem is that he doesn't know the difference between being "PC" and being "Politic",,, and it may be too late to teach him that. What Newt and Pence need to hammer home, is if he wants to be a loose canon,,, be one on Clinton's flagship, and not his own!!!!

There is a big difference both politically and ethically between not making a positive statement about a fellow candidate and publicly making a negative one. Is turnabout fair play? Perhaps, but when it distracts from what Trump should be doing and saying it's still incredibly stupid.
 
I'm just speaking for me here when I say Trump can do or say anything...whether it be the truth or not...and he would still be a more ethical choice than HRC. She is below scum in my book.
