I would like to start off by requesting that no mod or member speak to me as if I am a child. GC you mentioned that you tried to handle this situation in a PM but I must say that your PM was a very vague closed ended question to me and your response was just as vague. Also, I did not take our PM public, in fact I never mentioned that you PM'd me. I was simply responding to this very public and in my opinion, disrespectull comment from you, the owner. And I quote "I'm sorry. Is that an order? I'm used to those at work, but on my forum...not so much. " You were the one that mentioned the PRIVATE message, not I. The words that are censored should be concern to every member of this board. If we do not know the banned words, how are we supposed to know not to use them? Also, stating that I wear such things as a badge of courage is an incorrect assumption and I believe we all know what happens when we assume. I realize you deal with poor attitudes all day at your place of employment but I must remind you that this is not your place of employment. One thing we must all learn is that we may be in a leadership role at work where we can speak down to our employees and minions and talk to them as though they are children without them being able to speak out and stand up for themselves and to challenge or argue our points but this is a public forum, not a work place. Yes, I jokingly challenged a mod, I did not want that particular mods PM to go public therefore I attempted to be humorous with her and she posted a humorous reply on the closed forum. Now, I may not be the most educated poster on here, hell, lets be honest, I retired from school in the 10th grade(Let the PM's of BBG being mentally handicapped fly!! ;D) and sought out bigger and better goals in life because school bored the crap out of me. But, one thing I know is the definition of an argument/debate. Never, in the numerous debates that I have watched, no matter how childish and no matter the amount of name calling did one debater just close the debate without letting the other defend himself. That is why I am posting this. I do not mean to cause harm nor embarassment. I realize that my sense of humor is not on par with most of you alls sense of humor and I apologize that I am not into the clean, pull my finger type of humor that you are all into. I will attempt to fix that. I realize, while being in management, that the written word, whether it be through text, email, or a forum can be taken wrongly no matter the amount of smileys you use. It can be very difficult to decipher seriousness from humor and sarcasm from idiocy. Going forward, I would like to inform all memebers that in the first category, I am 96.8% non serious in all of my posts and in the second category I am 100% sarcastic. I apologize that my comments were taken seriously when in fact theywere purely based on humor towards a PM that I had recieved from a mod. I know one of the rules is to not argue with a mod, but out of the 15-20 consistent posters on here, at least 8 are mods or have mod power. I ask, "Who then can I argue with?". I realize that this post will either be deleted or closed and at this point I am ok with that. I just wanted the opportunity to defend myself. Thank you.
