Wifey cooked breakfast for dinner tonight, and made biscuit and gravy. Not exactly diet fare.


But DANG it was good! :p

Oh! I LOVE biscuits and gravy! I haven't had REAL good biscuits in a long time!!!
 
They are hard to resist.

I've had them twice this month. Both times at Cracker Barrel. Both times, I only had a half biscuit. Before this month, it's probably been 5 years or more since I last had them.

Whew. Up late watching a movie. Up at 4AM, just woke up. Great way to start the weekend!
 
I love biscuits and gravy as well. I've had them at Audry's, but the gravy was kind of bland.
 
Why ruin a perfectly good biscuit by covering it with something that looks like :sick ?



Can you guys tell I am a little tiny bit picky about my food? :laugh
 
It's that time of the year again to heat that kitchen up with some home made biscuits........pour on the syrup ....I love also putting a biscuit in a bowl and covering it with coffee and shake a little bit of sugar on the biscuit....yummy yummy......when I was growing up we called that "soak biscuit"............LOL

Winner. :firstplace I have never ever heard of that! Syrup on biscuits, coffee & sugar? LOL I learn a lot on this site!

yep yep.........pour you up some syrup.....and mix it up with some butter..........mix it well.....and dip that biscuit right in it...........YUMMY YUMMY... we called it "SOP BISCUIT"
