I stumbled on a TV show being filmed tonight...

I wondered what all the strange folks were doing around the building tonight, so I went down to take a look. It turns out ABC is filming a portion of a new series called "Final Witness" on the floor below my office. The producer said it was a true crime series told from the perspective of the victim. I met the actress playing Lynn Turner and her likeness sent chills down my back. I turned her down when she offered me a cold drink

Anyway, it's pretty cool. The episode about Lynn Turner will air in January.

Amazingly as much as i love crime novels and shows. I do not like true crime. Too sad knowing it really happened.

I'm just the opposite, SD. I love the true crime stories. I've heard the Lynn Turner trial story from the side of both the prosecutor and the defense attorney. Fascinating. Her mug shots would really give you the creeps!

Yeah, I like them, too. The other kind of crime seems too cheesy to me. I pick things like CSI apart!

Oh, but I LOVE Criminal Minds!!!

I've never watched that one! I have heard good things about it. Truth is, we don't get much time at home to watch TV, so I'm usually watching "true crime"! LOL

My favorite is "The First 48" on A&E.

I usually end up watching Criminal Mind re-runs on ION. I rarely am able to catch the current running ones on Wednesdays.

I could sooo be a detective! Only problem is that you have to work your way up from beat cop. I couldn't do that job. I think I might break a fingernail (or get severely beaten up!)

I wanted to be Police Woman or the Cagney in Cagney and Lacey when I was younger. My Dad always said my mouth would get me shot the first week. 8) I pursued other options.

That had to be pretty exciting to stumble upon

No way. I will get nightmares. I guess I like the "it did not really happen" part of it, but still want the mystery.

I am a reader more than a tv watcher and most of the books I read deal with mysteries, serial killers, always a body (LOL) I like the well researched ones and the ones wrote by people in the industry. Exactly because of the "cheese" factor. :))

I DO LOVE me some criminal minds. Profiling is amazing to me. I watch them over and over. However, I like the shows based on actual crimes also. Sad, but those things happen and it tends to make me more aware of my surroundings and be more cautious of suspicious characters. Yep, I profile.

Love Criminal Minds, NCIS, and Law and Order. Lynn Turner was cold blooded. I felt sorry for those guys who loved her. :(

I like seeing and reading real life crime stories. I'm not big into shows like Law and Order, CSI et al because they are often not realistic.
