Writing this book is really fun.

I feel like I'm in a movie and directing the actions of the actors. It's almost 2 thirds done and I finally know how it's going to end....kind of. I even have decided what the next one is going to be about.

Over the past weeks of reports about serial killers, i've heard about missing women between Orlando and Daytona. I'm thinking about a book called "The Corridor Killer". Or something along those lines.

A serious question for you. How many actually read and do domestic stories interest you? Obviously I'm interested in them, but often prople like stories based in forgein lands and people. IMHO, the more local the better. What are your thoughts? Your thoughts will help me in deciding....

If you are in total agreement, say nothing and I'll proceed ;D ;D

I know how you feel. I have finished one book, and am almost ready to start the next. Just got to get the ending right for the first one.

I'll be looking for a publisher soon. So far this is a three book series.

Oh, please...I got both of you beat...I've got at least four books started. However, note that I said STARTED, not anywhere near finished. I write non-fiction (mostly for teenagers and their parents); I think my fiction would be rather like Snoopy's: "It was a dark and stormy night." HAHAHAHAHAA

RE: Reacher's question - I don't care where a book is set as long as the story and characters are good and it's well-written. I am a voracious reader, and I LOVE me some good fiction (esp. mystery), but most of the stuff out there these days is pure crap.

Gog8tors, what do you write?

Pft. Writing is not my thing at all. I could not even get a novel started, but read? I do not know many that read more than I. What type of books do you read? I do mostly fiction and preferably with a dead body and case to solve. :D My book club does make me read a fluff book every once in a while and they are okay. I do like some of the southern writers, they are a hoot! How much do you read?

Goga8tors......waiting..... :whistle ;)

I'm thinking about writing a series of super hero comic book.

How does "The Adventures of Thong Man" grab you?

I keep thinking if we ignore it, it will go away. Of course, if it goes away, the board might go away, too. :D

I read anything and everything, although I must say I read more non-fiction right now than fiction. Main reason being is that I read about four really crappy fiction books in a row, and that just got me all aggravated. I was really irritated after the last one...it was AWFUL, and by an author (who I can't remember now) whose work I usually like. I kept reading thinking oh this will get better and it never did, and by the end, I swear I wondered if her 8th grade daughter wrote it and she just put her name on it. It was AWFUL!!! The non-fiction I'm reading these days mostly has to do with WWII and/or Communism...it's a MAJOR area of interest for me, and seeing as how I'm a history ignoramus, I'm having to learn all of it later in life.

Oh, and how MUCH I read has to do with how busy I am. I have to force myself not to read, or I will never get anything done. I usually read a couple of books a week, although I would prefer more than that.

hey jack you gonna give us a frre copy of your book when it comes out or will we have to go buy it at a book store or wait in line to meet the arthur

I hope everyone has to wait in a very long line at a book store, but I have a funny feeling that won't be the case. Maybe I'll be surprised, but I seriously doubt it. I plan on submitting it to a few publishers, but if it doesn't go anywhere, I'll self publish. My Hwy friends will have their own special discount. 8)

:D We would definitely get along! I read on average 20 books a month, but I only sleep between 3-4 hours per night, so I have the time!

Come over this weekend and I'll let you draw me for the cover.

I will post some of it tomorrow. Right now I'm writing about women, and the choices they have made. I also have a children's book in the works. It is based on real life.

Reacher: I love historical drama.
