I\'ll gonna be a poll worker...(not a pole dancer) You can too!!

Last year Twinsister and I worked on election day as a poll worker. It was a long day, but being retired we were able to nap and rest up prior and after. LOL

This year we have been called to work the Advanced Voting at the new library at Crossroads.

If you want info on this contact the Paulding Voter Registration at 770-443-7503.

The pay is only $10.00, but it's money!!!!! This will be my tag money and my July Texas trip mondy. Long hours on day of election. Polls are open 7-7. You will have to be there by around 6:30 AM and not leave until the votes are counted. That means after the last person in line at 7PM has voted and the ballots have been counted.

There is training on Jan 19th. So you have to get in contact with them soon as there is paperwork you need to fill out.

You have to be registered to vote in Paulding and have no criminal record.

If you live in different counties, check their voter registration for openings. I wish I did this years ago when I worked at Cobb County.

If you have questions, let me know. I will not be back on the computer until tomorrow. Also if this should be moved to another place, it's okay to move it.

I think it's great that you serve in that capacity.
I remember them talking about it last year after it was over ... long day but they loved it. I wish I could do it.

I'm sure it's long, and trying too. There are always some rude people there.

My GF does this every year. She loves it. She brings a book for the slow times and likes the little bit of extra money. :thumbsup
