The title of this thread is close enough... No USMail this week, so I roared up to the Dallas Post Office to complain about the situation. USPS Informed Delivery says I've got mail, (voter registration cards today), but nothing arrives. That is because the postal strike has everything backed up in Palmetto to the point that Monday and Tuesday mail arrived at 4:00pm in Dallas, and they are hoping that Wednesday and Thursday arrive tomorrow morning and be delivered tomorrow, but don't count on it. I did find out that all of the photography is done in Atlanta before being moved to Palmetto for sorting before going to Dallas for delivery.
I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of Voter Registration Cards will go missing, with no way of tracing them through this mess, just sayin.

Yep. My informed delivery said mine and my wife's was due yesterday. Mine arrived today, no sign of my wife's.

Isn’t that coincidental.
 
I was hit with a late fee for the water bill, even though I mailed it back the next day after receiving the bill. I refuse to pay the gouge fee for credit card payment and also refuse the "free" service of giving them direct access to my bank account. (another not just no, but heck no!)

Got the bill today, a WEEK after it printed and it's due in 9 days. Guess I'll drive the bill down there and cost them lots of man ours and processing time to handle my check.

If they would quit moving buildings every couple of years, they might get their act together. Maybe.
 
Well, it's Monday evening and Monday mail photographed in Atlanta this am has arrived today on time except for a CapitalOne statement which is about par for the course. Still missing are two voter registration cards that were photographed last Wednesday. If I have time tomorrow I'll go back to Dallas PO and crawl someones A$$ again!
 
We got a lot of cards for the wife and 2 of the 3 registration cards.

Drove to the water dept and paid the bill. Late fee would have been $10 or so since I filled the pool that month, so didn't want that.
