I gotta start working out again

I love my Diet Mountain Dew, but I know it's not the healthiest stuff out there.

Gotten where I drink a lot of Crystal Lite too

I've got a bunch of the Crystal Light sugar free packets (one per bottle of water). They are pretty good.

I've also been buying the large bottles of Minute Maid Zero Sugar lemonade and fruit punch lately too. Pretty good but can get a little expensive compared to bottled water and Crystal Light.

Um....most of the tea I drink is what I get from restaurants or fast food joints. Those places don't know anything about Stevia, etc. down here in south Georgia. :D

I did try some of the sugar-free Diet Tea you can buy in gallon jugs at the grocery store. Nasty!
When we eat out, my wife asks for half sweet/half unsweet tea.

I still do. Coke Zero is a far better cola drink.
What's really sad is when I go to a restaurant and ask for it, and I'm told they don't have it. Then they ask me if I want Diet Coke. I can't stand the taste of that so I get regular Coke.

I'm not sure why, but Coke only markets Coke Zero as a regional product. It's pretty common here in the metro area, but get out in the smaller towns and it's non-existent.

People who learned to like Diet Coke screwed their taste buds up. It's nasty, always was; it has a weird taste to it. Diet Pepsi is much better than Diet Coke.

My current weakness is sweat tea. The sweet tea down here in south Georgia is just so much better than some of the sweet tea in Atlanta. :D

I've been eating better and less, but I've likely replaced all those food calories with sweet tea calories. :(
My wife's biggest problem. She eats much better than I do, but always has a sweet tea (or several) when we eat out.

It was at a Longhorn Steakhouse, where they didn't carry Coke Zero. The one near the North Georgia Outlet Mall.

I drink Crystal Light mixed with a packet of Emergen-C, a dash of Magnesium Powder and four ounces of pure lemon juice each and every morning.

I put it in a sports bottle and shake it up, pour it out and drink it down. Tastes pretty good too.

I've been drinking this mix, every morning, for years and years.

Since I've started drinking it, no kidney stones......

( it's gotta be the potassium citrate in the Crystal Light, combined with the lemon juice... the vitamin C doesn't hurt either.)

Diet Coke or Pepsi or Dr. Pepper --- huge kidney stone triggers

I did a side job years ago, spent all day in a 140 degree attic. It was kicking my butt, was feeling bad. The homeowner gave me a glass with some Emergen-C in it, and it was pretty amazing how much it helped. About 15 minutes and I was back at it.

Costco sells a product called "Liquid IV".

It's like a supercharged Gatorade - good, good stuff

They probably don't up there. Coke Zero, for whatever reason, is a regional product. One reason I've heard is the artificial sweetener used, it apparently have a very short shelf life.
Here's the thing. I've gotten it at the Longhorns in Cornelia. I doubt I will ever go to one again. The steaks this time were thin.

I believe Longhorn is owned by Darden, but also think they franchise stores. So they might be different franchisees.
