They probably don't up there. Coke Zero, for whatever reason, is a regional product. One reason I've heard is the artificial sweetener used, it apparently have a very short shelf life.

Any of the diet drink go bad faster than the sugar ones. If you don't sell a lot, you end up dumping it. I am careful not to buy too many diet drinks for our little store.

When they lose flavor it is very gross.

Yep. I started checking my Diet cokes from any cooler like at Home Depot, if within a month of the date, back it goes.
