HWY PICS

I don't know if anyone has ever put two and two together but if you're driving along I - 20 passed the stadium, you'll notice the sign that says MLK Historical Site. Right underneath the next writing says "The Zoo". I can remember as a young boy that sign saying the same thing and apparently, nobody has ever complained.

I think I still have a pic on my phone showing one of those fancy signs indicating the road work was part of the stimulus. However, you could drive for miles and no road work! :))

Wonder how much we spent on those signs?

If I remember correctly, it was either 50,000 or 100,000 per sign. Seriously!
