How much longer until Hillary or Michelle enters the race?

Some big democrat donors are panicking. Joe Biden is losing steam, Beto fizzled out, Harris is falling fast and it looks like it may come down to Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren. They are in panic mode because a socialist probably won't defeat Trump and Warren's medicare for all plan will lose two millions jobs and raise taxes out the wazoo... Not something many can support.

I look for Hillary Clinton or even Michelle Obama to enter the race after the Iowa Caucus... I could be wrong, but I suspect I'm right on.

Michelle ain't happening and she wouldnseldlf destruct if she did.

Hillary can't win now.

No, it will be someone else, I just don't know who yet.

"And then in a stunning declaration, she deadpanned: 'I mean, obviously, I can beat him again.'

She still believes she won the election. I don't think she can beat Trump at all. If she were the Democrats nominee, Trump's victory will be wider than it was the last time because almost everyone is doing better economically than they were before Trump took office. Hillary would most likely go further to the left than she was her last time out.

I don't think Michelle will be the nominee either. Once the report on the FISA investigation is released, we will most likely see evidence showing members of the Obama administration created false evidence to obtain surveillance warrants to investigate the Trump campaign. This evidence would severely tarnish Obama, thus tarnishing Michelle.

Doesn’t matter who. Impeachment is their only hope and it’s a long shot at best. Possible but not probable.
A lot of people are assuming a Democrat could beat Pence. I think a lot of moderates who hate Trump personally would choose Pence over a leftist Democrat any day. They won't get Trump removed from office, but if they did they wouldn't be better off. JMHO

Don't know why they would. Listening to the pollsters who nailed the last election (cough...cough) I understand that Biden beats Trump by double digits.

Bloomberg to file paperwork today to get his name on the ballot in Alabama.

How Michael Bloomberg hopes to shape the Democratic presidential race
<snip>
In a statement Thursday, Bloomberg's longtime adviser Howard Wolfson said the billionaire and former New York City mayor "is increasingly concerned that the current field of candidates is not well positioned" to defeat President Donald Trump.

"I know close advisers to him have been frustrated particularly with the lack of digital strategy, not matching up to, say, where the Trump campaign is," Brennan said.

"The (Democratic) party in this primary process has been pulled toward … the more progressive wing, to the Elizabeth Warrens, to the Bernie Sanders people, who they identify as populists more than Democrats," she said. "And there's a fear of that among Democratic donors who are more establishment — that they won't be able to be enthusiastic about that candidate."

It's official, Bloomberg is in and spending big money on political ads. This definitely shakes things up for both the DNC and GOP. He will be marketed as the moderate and I predict he'll win the Democratic nomination. Then it's just a matter of convincing never-Trumpsters to get on board or have another 4 years of him and his Tweets. I still feel Trump will be re-elected but Bloomberg is a real threat.

"...in the end you’ve got millionaires arguing with millionaires over who hates the millionaires the most.” Mike Rowe

In September, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., tweeted, "Billionaires should not exist."

I guess Bloomberg is worried about his Billions...

As a centrist with deep ties to Wall Street, Bloomberg is expected to struggle among the party’s energized progressive base. He became a Democrat only last year. Yet his tremendous resources and moderate profile could be appealing in a primary contest that has become, above all, a quest to find the person best-positioned to deny Trump a second term next November.

Forbes ranked Bloomberg as the 11th-richest person in the world last year with a net worth of roughly $50 billion. Trump, by contrast, was ranked 259th with a net worth of just over $3 billion. His businesses — among them are financial data services and news services in various formats — employ more than 19,000 people in 69 countries. They are also certain to raise ethical questions about how his news-oriented businesses will cover the campaign and financial conflicts of interest for a possible presidency.

Already, Bloomberg has vowed to spend at least $150 million of his fortune on various pieces of a 2020 campaign, including more than $100 million for internet ads attacking Trump, between $15 million and $20 million on a voter registration drive largely targeting minority voters, and more than $30 million on an initial round of television ads.

He did not say how much he would be willing to spend overall on his presidential ambitions, but senior adviser Howard Wolfson did: “Whatever it takes to defeat Donald Trump.”
