Across the country, lawsuits have mounted as houses of worship fight back against restrictions limiting how many people can gather for services, as states try to protect residents from the coronavirus pandemic.

The feds can't do anything, but the states have so far been given pretty wide latitude in "protecting the public in emergencies". Some state supreme courts are beginning to balk at draconian measures. This will be interesting.
