Hillary is still killin' it.

The effects of Trump as the republican nominee will be felt for years, if not decades, to come. He's gonna lose and he's gonna lose badly. But hey, at least it was entertaining.

I honestly believe his support is being seriously underestimated.

People are reluctant to openly discuss their choice because of social stigma...

;)

I think that's true but not to the extent that it'll impact the election. We'll see in November.

She's killing it alright, just look at her deleting all those emails:

If he does lose, thanks can be given to the establishment republicans. They will sell the country down the river to maintain their little club.

There are a lot of moderates and conservatives who don't think like he does, and there are a lot who look at his actions and his own words and conclude that he would not be a good President. Most of those people are not active in any party.

Trump's nomination was the result of disaffected conservatives, moderates, and crossover Democrats giving the Republican Party the big finger. Most of those voters have no idea who John Boehner or Rince Priebus are. They are angry at republicans and many will not likely vote for a Republican in the general election. If Trump didn't set out to give this thing to Hillary, a lot of the primary voters probably did. Favorability tracking from 235 polls shows Trump with a net favorability rating of minus 26, the lowest in modern times for any candidate. This isn't going to pack the polls folks. Clinton's is minus 11.

Granted Trump isn't the ideal candidate but what boggles my brain is how much baggage HRC possesses yet people seem to still prefer her over Trump. She's been in politics for over 30 years and absolutely zero accomplishments to offer, she has a trail of dead bodies behind her and her husband, she has multiple unscrupulous decisions, countless outright lies, yet still she is favored. It speaks volumes to where we are as a society. Trump has a bad hair-do, a big mouth, a few legal bankruptcies, one questionable university yet people still lean towards HRC. Do people honestly think Trump would be a worse President than Obamalama or HRC? Honestly?

I can't agree with this. The establishment is rotten and has done a lot of damage alright. But Trump is responsible for much of his negative ratings. He didn't have to act like such a snot and insult so many people while on the campaign trail. I think he did a lot of it to get airtime from being so outrageous; but it might have backfired on him.

If he doesn't get his crap together soon, it's all over.

This is a good example of why primaries should be closed to party members only.

Primaries should be closed, and the post primary debates should include the top three or four candidates. I don't mind the parties choosing whomever they want, but when they conspire to keep independent candidates off the public stage, I have a real problem.

I agree with that idea. Most of our problems can be traced back to having only a two party system, each taking turns swapping power as they gradually destroy the foundation. A third party should have equal access to debates and media coverage to give the people an honest choice.
