They have a USO center that has computers for us to use here. It's nice to be able to get back on the highway.

It's time for me to give a little testimony here. I felt terrible when I had to leave Duke at the shelter. I took him into the pen and stayed with him for awhile. He was not his normal happy self while I was in there with him. He knew something was up and it wasn't good. I finally had to leave because they were getting ready to close. I walked out of the pen and shut the gate behind me and started walking away. I looked back one more time at him and he was sitting there looking so sad and it made me feel absolutely terrible. On my way back home, my mother called me to ask if I had found a home for him yet. When I told her what I had just done, I started to cry. I love that dog. My mother said a prayer on the phone with me for God to find him a home. ShoeDiva called me that night and told me BBG and MH wanted to take him. I told her to contact them for me because Duke was at the shelter. I prayed later than night with a friend of mine on the phone they would be able to get him in the morning. I had a dream that night they got him.

Needless to say how happy I was when I heard Duke was at their house. God is such a loving God and He does answer our prayers. He has worked such wonders in my life, especially in the past few years. There is power in prayer people and it pays to be faithful to Him.

My heart just broke when I spoke with you. I know leaving Duke was so hard. I was so happy that BBG and MamaHog were willing to help out and take him. God is good.

Fox, darn you. Here I am at work and you made me cry. Such a great, happy ending. Thanks for caring so much for your baby. Sorry you had to go through that, but glad it ended well. :love

We are happy to do it. He is a very sweet dog! The kids have been outside throwing him the ball this afternoon.

MamaHog, you're an angel for jumping in and saving Fox's baby.

Amen, so happy to hear this precious baby found a good home. God bless your loving hearts for taking him in.

Fox, so happy to hear your testimony of how completely God works. I know it had to be a huge relief for your heart that he was taken in by folks you know.

I'm so happy to heat that Fox. Mrs. Reacher and I would have taken him if I had read this sooner. I've been so tied up and away from the computer for a few days. But all is well and I am thankful.

I prayed all Friday he'd find a home somewhere, and even told my mom and she was praying. Then I read BBG/MH stepped up, and I was beyond thrilled. Honestly, God does hear and answer prayer. Sometimes, it's yes, sometimes it's no, and sometimes - this one I really, REALLY hate - it's wait. But He always hears and answers. My heart is happy.

He loves to play ball! I can't wait to see him again. You guys will have to send me pictures now and then. He's my baby boy.

I am so happy to read this! Fox, I texted you but found out later you don't text. I was going to try and take him in and ask for forgiveness later.

MamaHog and BBG, you guys are so awesome!
