I'm not sure taking "secret" trips is a good idea. But...good on her for caring, I guess. Assad wasn't a bad guy till Obama came along, and Damascus was supposed to be a really safe city for western tourists.
These people are stupid though...topple Assad, and ISIS takes over. Just like in Libya. Gaddafi wasn't an enemy anymore. These so called villains are not the problem...they're fighting terrorism and running their countries as they see fit. And who the hell thought we should be ARMING terrorists? We shouldn't need a bill to stop arming them, we shouldn't be doing it. And once again, the people behind this should all hang.

Which was one of the arguments (possibly rightly so) that the Democrats had with removing Hussein from power in Iraq.
It seems that with both parties, what they are for or against changes a lot and seems to be more about bringing down the other party than what is actually right and wrong.
