Have to share my morning story..so this morning I go

Pursuit Driver
by GD's house to let out his doggie and as I made my way down his lower driveway, my son screams HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THAT? I look up and this creature flew over the hood of my car and I about jumped out of my car...lol it's wing span covered the width of my tahoe. I have no clue what the thing was. It flew over GD's pond and perched itself in top of one of the trees. I got out of my car and it was making this funny noise and then flew back across the pond toward me. I swear it's wingspan was as wide as that pond as it flew toward me.. :HAHA

My son wouldn't even get out of the car :HAHA. Then it turned and flew back toward the woods and disappeared.

I have no clue what this bird was, all I know is the dang thing was huge.

I bet it was a type of crane. We have one that lives at a neighbor's pond, and when that thing flies through our woods over my car - you're right, it will scare the bonkers out of you! It seems like some prehistoric animal when it flaps its wings.

I bet that was hilarious!
 
WOW, and just in time for Halloween. Hope they stay over there because I have a tiny dog that they would take away! Of course, she isn't allowed outside without me and really doesn't like going out much. Thank goodness. She's just 2 lbs. :love

My first thought was a buzzard as well. :laugh
 
Or....maybe GD that put the bird up to it. It was really trying to poop ON you, in retaliation for posting his bird poop story.

haha yeah that was it...I didn't see it again anytime I went back over there..so no telling what it was.
