I used to get SO tickled at one lieutenant that worked here. He was always upbeat and funny. One evening he came in and said "Boys, be careful out there. It's gonna be crazy tonight. It's Psycho Demilo"!

He came to work here when he left his air traffic control job. I thought that was kind of odd, so I ask him about it. He told me he was proud to be the only person working here that had been fired by the President of the United States.

Actually someday I need to make a big pot of real cajun red beans and rice then we should have a get together..
 
Those people out are a bit psycho! (excluding myself of course :angel ) My gf's and I went early to make sure we would get a table. After a few hours we were good to go and called the car & driver (my mini van and husband) to come get us. I thought that a fight was going to break out over the parking spot!! (Husband had some mom day shopping to do and some frozen yogurt to eat and had parked and just walked over to those places.) Here we come out the the car and people are lining up from both sides to get the spot. We could not even get out. Husband had to get out and ask them to move back so he could get out. After we backed out one car from each side turned in! Last I saw was them yelling at each other. :eek: Really. Over a parking spot.
 
There were pouring into the Mexican place behind Rite Aid this afternoon. I bet the cops were on DUI alert tonight.
 
They were out in force! We counted 11 that we passed from The Avenues in Cobb to the Paulding line alone. (Then we came up with a new game. ha ha ha)
 
I stopped by to check on Daughter Reacher at Huey Luey's at 12:45 AM. She said the place was crazy all night. When I got there a group of 8 young men came out, saw me and started to explain they had only one drink. Riiiiight... I'm glad that junk is over with for another year.
 
I just read on Wiki that it's celebrated nationwide in the US, but only regionally in Mexico. Weird. I'm not hispanic, so I didn't participate. :Ninja But dang! I think it's just an excuse (for most) to have a margarita or three.
