GOP vice presidential hopefuls look for Trump’s golden ticket

I don't think Tim Scott could win a presidential race if he were VP for four years, and I don't think Sarah Huckabee could either. I only see one on the list who could have a shot at winning the presidency after serving as VP: Kristi Noem. However, if a Trump administration is plagued with problems, whoever his VP is will never have a chance of winning the White House. If I were a betting man, I'd have to say a Trump administration will be plagued with problems.

“Trump will prioritize loyalty over votes. His team may be thinking about 2028, but his pick in 2024 will be about who best reflects on him,” said Dan Eberhart...

I think, like last time, Trump will prioritize loyalty to him over anything. All he wants is people who say only, "Yes, sir. Whatever you say, sir." He doesn't want anyone who will say, "I don't think that's a good idea." That's a reason why he had a high turnover rate, higher than any president in history.

He could always pick Hillary, that way it wouldn’t matter if his next term is a disaster.

He will pick himself as running mate. He is the only person in his mind who is a perfect candidate without flaw.
It's very possible he will decide to run without a VP nominee. In some ways that wouldn't be a bad idea, he is currently carrying the momentum of the party on his shoulders and it's my understanding that there is no requirement that he has to have VP running mate but I could be wrong.

The 25th Amendment states that whenever there is a vacancy in the office of vice president, the president shall nominate a vice president. He has no choice but to have a vice president. Even if he didn't have to, it would be ludicrous not to, especially if a Democrat was Speaker of the House.
