For all who are so worried about SCOTUS

True, but they don't make the nominations. I'm more concerned about a liberal being appointed and them being confirmed than I am about conservatives being nominated and not being confirmed. The republicans would wear down a lot faster than the dems would.
 
Personally I'm over being concerned or worried over it. Doesn't matter who get elected...we'll survive. We may not think we will but we will. I promise.
 
Well, presidential elections usually have coat tails.

Meaning...if the GOP loses one, they'll likely lose both.

That is possible, and it may be unavoidable. But it's a problem well recognized within the party and their large donor base. The libertarian leaning David Koch has decided to sit out the Presidential contest and support Republican candidates for the Senate.
