:spitchickMrsB said:Thank you all!!! Thanks IF! Getting ready to check the links out. There's a couple of things in the house I'm not sure of, like the floors and counters. I need to find out how they are sealed but I can't find it in the paperwork. Luckily, or strangely maybe, the previous homeowner is coming to stay next door with her daughter so she can finish the school year here. It may be awkward, lol. I'm going to ask her how about some of these things. I just can't wait that long for the floor.
Also, any of you wanna come show me how to work my new washer and dryer? It makes all kinda of sounds and lights up. I'm kinda scared of them. LOL

To those of you who say not to use water... if it's liquid, then it contains water. I am really not trying to be a PITA but that just makes no sense.

Not so. There are many liguids that are not water based. Pertroleum, for example. Gylcerin, mineral or vegitable oils, alcohols, erc.
Sorry, my inner nerd comes out now and then.Cheezy said:Guard Dad said:Cheezy said:I found this link on Pinterest.... I am gonna try it on my floors. http://naturesnurtureblog.com/2012/04/19/homemade-floor-all-purpose-cleaner/

I think what they mean is that we should not use the old mop and bucket method to clean most hardwood today. It puts too much water on the floor.Cheezy said:I found this link on Pinterest....
