Tomorrow night at 9PM. Who's gonna watch?

My prediction:
1. Hillary makes it through without collapsing or having a coughing fit.
2. Trump doesn't say anything incredibly stupid.
3. Nothing changes.

I'm flying to California to work nights this week, so my clock will really be messed up, but if I can get to the hotel in time I'm going to try to watch at least some of it.

I'll take that bet. :laughbunny:

I have no idea how, but I do think you are right about #1. It has been such a controversial topic she is going to come across as perfectly fine and act like all the people that reported all these horrible diseases she could have as right wing deplorable nut jobs. :(
#2 Is Trump not allowed to speak?
#3 Probably not.

I really don't know what to expect.

Hillary is knowledgeable, but incessant droning to be quite annoying. And her "good and decent" personal comes across as very fake.

Which Trump will we see? The Trump of some years ago when he was polished an dprofessional, or Reality Show Donald? If the latter; his loyals will love him but most everyone else will be turned off.

Hillary had at least one health episode in the primary debates, so I see it very possible that she could flip out in this one. Though I don't wish any hard to her, I do hope the people learn the truth about her health situation.

Barring any major developments; the debates will be the biggest opportunity for either candidate to change people's minds.

I'm on vacation so I'll pass on this one. I'm more interested in the last debate, it will be the one carrying them to the finish line.

I think she will come across as the Wicked Witch of the Beltway, and he will come off as the bastard son of Howdy Doody and Imelda Marcos. So nothing will change at all.

Wow. First, Hillary didn't faint and had no coughing fits so there's that.

Hillary lied about every 2 minutes. Trump lied repeatedly too. For biased voters, their candidate 'won' the debate (that was going to be the case regardless).

Hillary had Trump spending too much time defending his businesses and past. Trump didn't do a good job of countering her points without repeating the same couple of arguments.

Bottom line: Trump was doing pretty well for the first fifteen minutes, then Hillary went on the offensive, and Trump choked.

My thoughts...

Hillary was smooth as silk, and demonstrated her political experience.

Trump was not nearly as big an a-hole as in the primaries, which was good. But he also wasn't a polished politician. Now...I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing, but some will.

Both lied, but Hillary is the clear winner on the BS meter.

Trump, let her get away with far too much. She lied about her economic plan, and Trump let it pass. Trump was much more on point when it came to the economy and jobs, but the ignorant partisan left won't get it because they don't understand how a capitalist economy works. They think raising taxes on the rich is the answer to everything.

Hillary played the race and gender cards ad nauseam. I cannot tell you how disgusting I find this to be, dividing the American instead of leading us to work together to solve our problems.

Trump didn't defend himself well on those issues. There's a great counter he could have used, and he didn't.

Hillary didn't have a seizure.

Trump didn't audibly fart.

This concludes by review. May the farce be with us.
