OK, you social media types, a spinoff of a spinoff:

How many FB friends do you have? If you are a Twitter user, how many people do you follow (or have following you)?

I am not on FB (shocker, I know), but several friends of mine have 750 or so friends each. I haven't asked lately, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're over 1,000 now. I am on Twitter...I don't tweet, so I don't have any followers, but I do follow three people - Iowahawk, Ace from Ace of Spades, and Dennis Miller. I have a Twitter account so I can quickly follow if a major news story breaks (like in the Iran green revolution a few years ago - you know, the one that Obama didn't support the freedom side - the only news that got out for the longest time was via Twitter).
 
My facebook numbers are pointless panda without you in that number ( crying my eyes out)

I don't friend request every person I've ever met like some do. And I'm not a frequent Facebooker, I come and go. I rarely do status updates, mostly just make smart alek remarks on other people's posts.
 
A lot, but (not like the numbers you wrote!) I know each and every one of them. (I would say I have about 5 I have not met in person, met through chat boards, but I still know of and like them.) If you send me a request and I do not know who you are, you are not getting approved. :))

LMBO!!

With the exception of 3, 2 that I know from the Highway and 1 that is a mom of another friend, I've met and know every one of them. I have a huge family, there are many on FB that I haven't seen in years. Just being able to contact them is worth the aggravation that comes with FB.

I have 2 FaceBook pages, one personal and one business. I think I have about 500 or more connections but most are blocked or FB does not show their posts. Which gets me in trouble at home when the wifey asks me if I saw her posts.

I've had a twitter account for years but seldom, if ever, use it anymore. But my business page and LinkedIn account automatically posts to twitter.

My LinkedIn account (business to business social media) had almost 1300 connections. I use it everyday and add about 60 new connections a week.

LOL. My husband will ask me about something, and I never saw it! I do not have him blocked for sure, but that news feed page decides what you see and what you don't. It is a bit annoying.

I have 247 FB friends and about the same that I follow on twitter. BUT, I have friended and follow a lot of news folks - I like to be informed.

I have 522 FB friends.
and 38 twitter friends. I rarely tweet, it's there mainly cause I am nosey. :laugh
