EXCLUSIVE: Hershey Fires Unvaccinated Employees

They own a lot of different names:

There are very few on that list which make it into our shopping cart and I can live without them, we don’t eat much candy or chocolate.

I can skip almost all those, but put a Reese's down in front of me and it'll be gone faster than you can say "you're fired!".

The radio said AT&T is laying off a huge amount:

The U.S wireless carrier, one the largest employers of union-represented workers, said the Communications Workers of America (CWA)-linked employees must be fully vaccinated by Feb. 1, 2022. CWA represents more than 150,000 employees at AT&T.

Devil's advocate here. These are private companies and can hire and fire as they see fit as long as they do not discriminate according to sex, race, religion, disability or age. Even though I may not agree with the cause for termination I am glad free enterprise has these rights. Now if someone proves in court this is a prejudicial cause for termination that violates workers rights the crap may hit the fan. I predict there will be multiple lawsuits filed. Just a question to ponder if you stop doing business with all these folks does that mean you are now a part of the "cancel" culture?

And that describes my entire issue regarding the mandate: Government, medical personnel, and big pharma are all protected from liability if you get the shot yet something goes wrong. Businesses are protected if they fire, demote, or isolate you if don’t get the shot. The only one not protected is “you” and that’s not right.

From what I've seen off att, they can fire all their employees and not lose much. They only have a few
people left that know how to do anything. Took them 4 months and 6 different people to find
where the squirrel ate through the wire going to my house. The first guy saw my network setup and
freaked out. I don't think he had ever seen a switch and routers before.

OK then. I need to cancel my internet service anyway, I'll just tell them outright its' because of their firing those people. Double win!!

It took 4 months and 4 different guys to fix my DSL several years ago as well. I was finally told by one of them that once upon a time, they had their techs separated by specialty. You had guys who knew DSL, some who knew POTS (Plain ol' Telephone Service), those that knew fiber, etc. If you had a DSL problem, then they sent a DSL tech.

BUT in the interest of keeping their people busy, they in their wisdom decided all techs were equal and started sending POTS guys out for DSL calls if they were closest, while the DSL guy was sent to fix the fiber problem that was closer to him. Result: Nothing got fixed until you finally managed to rotate through the local people and found the one with knowledge to fix your problem. Stupid, stupid stupid. I don't know if they still expect their techs to be experts in every system they sell, but it wouldn't surprise me.

EXECTLY!!!!!!!

I know we all are able to work for any employer we want, and the employer is able to hire any employee they desire, I have a problem with my work deciding I must inject something into my body so that I can continue to work there.

I have a problem with the government deciding I have to inject something into my body to participate in society. Especially when those recommending it at the top of our government have many reasons beyond my health that they may be recommending it, like wealth and power.

We are currently witnessing why this opens all sorts of questionable ethical scenarios.

1) a vaccine with limited testing
2) approved for emergency use
3) The blocking of therapeutics other countries have had success using
3) the virus it was made for has changed to a new variant
4) the vaccine no longer matches the virus.
5) the manufacturer admits it no longer matches the variant
6) it is such a poor match that they will have a new vaccine out in March to match the new Omicron
7) another variant is now out there that is even milder than Omicron but spreads 25% more quickly
8) the majority of people under 45 who are healthy and of average weight who get sick with the new variant, will easily get better
9) they will have the inconvenience of being sick and feeling badly with headache, backache, chills, sweats, runny nose, and a sore throat
10) I have witnessed many vaxxed and unvaxxd get the new variant, and there are no differences in outcome
11) the vaccinated ones had no advantage from their shot and booster, they all got sick and recovered equally
12) this is not a vaccine that protects from getting the illness, and it is dubious if at this point there are other advantages
13) in America, those with natural immunity are not given "credit" (if I had chicken pox, I don't get a chicken pox vaccine)
14) any vaccine has risks.
15) there are many with injury from the vaccine - that will have long term health problems

The mandates are without exception, even if:
1) your own medical doctor tests you and says you have the anti bodies, which give you more protection than the vaccine
2) your own immune system is working that has the antibodies
3) the shot may have more risk than relying on your own immunity,
4) you are young and healthy and do not have a risk of getting Covid

This is just not what America and our Constitutional Republic confer.

When 12-year-olds who have zero risk from covid are asked for their papers to show proof of an experimental injection to go to a restaurant, you know there is something very, very wrong.

A friend of mine told me yesterday that the grandson of one of his friend cannot walk and has been that way since 3 days after getting the first shot, and he was previously healthy. He didn’t know the age but the grandparent was in their early sixties.

Getting vaccinated probably made sense a year ago when the original virus and Delta was raging. The data I've seen indicates it's over 99% Omicron now, and I fail to see what the benefit of the vaccine currently is. The vaccines don't even slow Omicron down, and the stuff about it preventing hospitalizations and serious illness seems to be moot because Omicron really isn't making people that sick.

Sure, things could change and new variants could come out. But will the vaccine be effective against those? No way to know for sure, but my understanding is that they probably will not, due to the way viruses typically mutate.

Some of the second gen vaccines sound much more promising. IMO, it makes more sense to focus on testing and approval for them, as well as continue to work on therapeutics to better treat COVID. But as most of us here know, politics and back room deals are getting in the way of that.

And I stick to what I've said from the start of this...natural immunity will likely win the war.

THAT IS SO SAD. Keep us updated on his condition. My heart and prayers go out to his family.

All vaccines or medicines have potential side effects.

A vaccine once in the body can't be removed, unlike a medicine that you can stop taking a pill if you see side effects.

The Myocarditis in young males is serious. They are saying 1 in 10,000. That is ridiculous when healthy young people under 20 have almost zero risk of problems from Covid, but 1 in 10,000 will experience vaccine injury that will be life long if they take the vaccine... a vaccine that does not even match the current variant. A vaccine being mandated for students 12 to 18 as well as all universities in California. It makes me crazy!

The fact the people who wish to talk about the vaccine injuries are silenced, and often not even taken seriously from their doctors is concerning. Doctors will privately admit they will be threatened with repercussions if they diagnose the injury "due to the shot".

My mom's neighbor, an elderly man, has been recovering since his booster in November. Same problem. He experienced an immediate reaction after he was given the booster. It affected his balance and ability to walk. He was hospitalized initially. He used to walk the whole neighborhood nightly. He is just now able to start walking using and upright walker to walk up and back one block.

He uses this now to walk:

A co-worker of my wife has come down with COVID for the second time time in six months. He tested positive for anti-bodies in November. Not vaccinated. Does not were a mask or social distance. Mid-thirties. He is overweight and not very active (other words he works in IT dept.). I do not know which variant.
