Early Voting Draws 35,000-Plus in Paulding
Deidre Holden, supervisor of the Paulding County Elections office, told Dallas-Hiram Patch Friday evening that when early voting ended at 5 p.m. that day, 35,602 county residents had already cast in-person ballots, taking advantage of the 16 days the county offered voting opportunities ahead of Tuesday’s election day.

Last month, Paulding had 85,929 voters on the rolls. Based on Friday’s total, an estimated 41.4 percent of the county’s registered voters cast early ballots in person.

With all the polling locations open Tuesday it might actually be a shorter line for those that waited for election day.

So exciting to see so many of us taking advantage of the early voting process!!! 4 years ago I stood in line for over 2 hours to vote against our current President. I was determined to make my vote count. This year, I decided I didn't really want to wait in a long line again, so I took advantage of early voting in hopes of getting Obama out.

We actually voted early in 2008, and had to wait over 2 hours. This year the wait was only 5 minutes tops. I would have waited for days if necessary to give Obama a pink slip.

I was happy to see so many voted early! This is son's first election for the president and he really wanted to go that day with us and then sit down in front of the tv to watch it all play out. I figured since this was the first president he would vote for I would go suffer in a long line for him. :)) (Now hoping it isn't too long! I have been so jealous of everyone showing of their voted stickers these last couple of weeks! )

I was gonna vote at the liberry last week, but then I got sick, so I'll be voting tomorrow as well. Those early numbers are amazing.

The early voting numbers are amazing and I hope the turnout tomorrow is even better. I know we will have a strong turnout at the polls across this country tomorrow in support of Romney.

That's how I say it too! ;D

Papi and I will be in line at Paulding County High School tomorrow morning.
I think we are going to go mid morning after the "before work crowd" is gone but before the "lunch crowd" gets there.

According to the weather, we may be standing in some cold rain, but that's why they make coats and umbrellies!
PRAYING our guy wins.
I'm really scared of another four years of Barry.

There are many words that I deliberately mispronounce for one reason or another. Usually it's because one of us kids said it wrong when we were little and I just kept it. Like my siblings used to call an afghan an "Afghanistan". So now they're Afghanistans. :D I think I started liberry because I have a dear friend who is a librarian and I like to poke him. ;)

I think I'll go mid-morning, too. :bitingnails:

I love election day... we will be in line tomorrow come hell or high water.

That is wonderful!! :cheer1 :cheer1 :cheer1 :cheer1 :cheer1 :cheer1

41% turn out for the whole election is considered outstanding, but for early voting it is spectacular!
