I'm Floored

Lover of BS!
Does anybody have it? I just want them to come in and swap me up with a certain 18 year old so he might be able to understand all the pressures and responsibilities a parent has.

And I'd love to head off to college and have all my expenses paid.

:whistle

awwww Dr Phil says the brain doesn't stop growing until the age of 25 so he can't know all the things his wise parents know yet. Just be thankful you have that 18yr old to hug and send off to college. :hug :love

I highly doubt that made you feel any better tho. I'm sorry :snick_bunny

Sorry. I have been very lucky (and I do know that) with mine. We sat down and looked at the schools he was accepted to and told him that if he would do his core classes at home at the local college he could then go to where he wanted. We would be able to save the dorm fees, and college fees (goodness those are all through the roof!) and his diploma will have that college name on it no matter where he did his core classes. :)

Now, we did not have ball to consider, so that made it easier on us. Yours is a smart, intelligent young man too. Have you sat down and just showed him how much it all adds up to? It was definitely a wake up call for ours to actually see that scholarships, and Hope only helped so much.
