Here's what the DC mayor said.

"We're not a border town. We don't have an infrastructure to handle this type of a level of immigration to our city. But we will create a new normal here in our infrastructure and have a humane welcome for people and an efficient service provision. But we don't have the ability, we’re not Texas," Bowser told Fox 5 DC in 2022.

What she is saying is border towns should be taking care of the illegals. She knows they don't have the infrastructure, but she thinks the State of Texas does. She's just wanting someone else to take responsibility for the problem, which is typical of liberals - blame someone else for the problem they created. I find it humorous as heck that all these sanctuary cities don't want the illegals.
