Democratic California Rep. Jackie Speier will not seek reelection in 2022

Whether or not she could have been elected again, 12 years is a good term and time to let someone else run.

She's 71 this year and I've never understood the drive to stay in office until your dead. Enjoy the rest of your life.

I don't understand Biden running myself for this term, much less another one where he'll be what, 84 when it's over?
 
I've never heard of her. I guess she did not do much, which as a democrat, is a good thing.

Looks like she was a Representative of Northern California at a time the place became a shit hole where no one can afford to live and have left... Good job idiot!

She proudly represents California’s 14th Congressional District, stretching from the southern portion of San Francisco through San Mateo County to East Palo Alto.

I bet they vote in someone as worthless as her... the area is like 90% liberal and they can't figure out they have no freedom... they just ask government to tell them how to live. Sad.
