I know there are several law enforcement officers on this site. I just wanted to let you know that Legacy Baptist Church ( legacybc.org ) is showing the movie courageous at 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 4th and again at 6:00 pm on Saturday, February 11th. Admission is free and there will be free popcorn and drinks. They have invited all local law enforcement officers to attend. This movie has been produced by the same church in Albany that produced Facing the Giants, Flywheel and Fireproof. See the legacy website for directions.
 
We saw it a couple of weeks ago. I knew the message would be good, but I was quite surprised at the quality of the movie. It's really excellent!
 
Tow and the lil tows have seen it. None of them is willing to watch it with me. Tow actually just suggested that I not watch it at all...

Why?
 
It's a great movie. I was able to watch it here on DVD as one of the guys I work with had it. It made me tear up a few times. I think it would be great if every man whether he's a father yet or not watch this movie.
 
I purchased it two weeks ago and we haven't watched it yet. :( We had to get a new TV at Christmas and I haven't hooked the DVD player up yet. I think the new TV only has one hook up.
 
I put down the wrong time. The movie is showing at 6 pm on both nights and not 6:30 pm. Sorry for the confusion.
 
I like the story but it was to long. I got kinda bored near the end.

the only part I thought was entertaining was the "Snake King"
 
I think it's really a movie directed at men. It's good for the entire family to see it, but the message is to men.

Especially for men with daughters; it really tugs on the heart strings.
 
Don't forget, the 2nd showing of the movie Courageous at Legacy Baptist Church for local law enforcement officers will be this Saturday, 2/11/12 at 6:15 pm. Admission and refreshments are free of charge.
