Coronavirus ‘much more widespread’ than previously thought, Stanford antibody study finds

A groundbreaking study by Stanford researchers released Friday indicated that far more Americans than previously indicated may have been infected with the novel coronavirus — and now carry the protective antibodies, a sign of possible immunity.

I'm reading a lot of blowback on this Santa Clara study from other researchers ,virologists, and statisticians as to methodology, sample choice, etc. I wouldn't read too much into this right now.

Another test showing 32% had been exposed.

A test of 200 people just outside Boston found that 32% had been exposed to the coronavirus, compared to an official rate of 2%

The study was carried out last week on passersby in Chelsea, Massachusetts. It suggests that the outbreak there is more severe than previously known.
