Conservatives pressure GOP on tax reform

Yep, if they get the economy going by reducing the barriers to business(taxes and regulation that is overreaching,) there will be more growth in business and therefore growth in taxes. More jobs which would get those back to work who have given up, and bring some who are not fully employed- full employment. Which increases incoming taxes as well.

I think they have been focused on getting rid of the things 0bama did since November 9th... he was a prick at the end... well even more so.

I am extremely disheartened that the Republicans saw this day come and were not prepared with an Obamacare plan, a debt plan, and a tax plan. Did they think they would never be in power again, or as I suspect, was it all just a bunch of bull hockey. They like taxes, they like spending,, they don't care about debt, and they are too chicken to tell everyone that healthcare is not a right.

I felt like a majority worked to get Hillary elected.

Trump shakes up what establishment politicians have done for the last 3 decades.

I don't think they thought republican's would hold the presidency, and most R's did not want Trump. These elected representatives stopped representing the people, or what the people want our country to be decades ago.

Each year we have put more R's in and they have rolled over and said there was nothing they could do. We need a third party who is not entrenched in DC... citizens who go into politics for a term and move back into the public sector.

“We're going to be announcing something, I would say over the next two or three weeks, that will be phenomenal in terms of tax and developing our aviation infrastructure," he teased.

The Wall Street Journal reported that while White House officials have been discussing tax issues with House and Senate Republicans, Trump's announcement caught GOP officials by surprise. House Speaker Paul Ryan told Fox News last week that tax reform was eyed for the spring, after an ObamaCare repeal.
