Commercial Property Tax Appeal...I\'m doomed!

My boss appealed her tax assessment and they just sent us back a notice of when/where to attend the appeal. She can't make it, so she's sending me...

I feel a sense of dread about this. All she's given me is the latest appraisal on our property, and I know that isn't enough. I don't like going into something unprepared, without all my ducks in a row & knowing what's going to happen. Has anyone ever appealed a commercial tax assessment and won? I sure could use some pointers!

I use a local guy that does it for you. His fee is half of the money he saves you.

Really? I never thought about having someone else do it for you. Yeah, I'd want to go into it with more than that.

I can run that by her, cuz I like that idea MUCH better than me doing it. But I can be 99.9% sure she isn't going to do that. She doesn't pay anyone to do anything that she can get for free. LOL
