Wonder how bad it really is?

Also, since there is a such a long lead time, how many others in the city have been infected?

China on Monday reported its largest uptick in new coronavirus infections in more than a month, but said most of the cases are imported. Officials said mainland China had 169 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, of which 61 were described as asymptomatic. Beijing, which has been under fire for months for underreporting the number of cases, said 98 of the new cases were "imported," meaning they originated somewhere else.

The combined figure marks the highest number of cases China has had since March 6. The bump in stats has sparked some concern about a second wave of infections in China, the country that first reported cases of coronavirus late last year and is considered the epicenter of the pandemic.

Other articles are saying the cases are Russian Chinese that are coming back into the country to escape the mess that Russia is finding itself in.

I'm concerned that we will have a second wave.

I would pretty much count on it. Unless the world completely stops the virus, which I think all will agree is about impossible, as long as there are group of people where less than 80% have the antibodies and you have social mixing at normal levels, there will be a second and third wave.

There needs to be a vaccine for those likely to get very ill, the elderly and those with secondary issues, to truly bring this under control.
