Both CNN & The New York Times are censoring newsworthy photos of the new Charlie Hebdo cover :

Note that CNN has now started referring to Mohammad as the "prohet."

I believe it was more news organizations than just CNN and the NYT. Mohammad is the Muslim prophet so I do not see an issue with their statement in the article not to show the prophet. (That is a factual statement in that he is considered a prophet, maybe not mine or yours, but that is what he is considered. JMO) I believe they stated worry for their employees, and that they might change their mind about publishing the cover.
I do think they should publish it because it is not like we are not all seeing it anyway.

When has any mainstream news organization referred to Jesus Christ as "Lord and Savior" ? ? ?

This is what Islamophobia looks like :

IDK...Google it might tell you. I would assume he has been referred to as something in the years that the news has been around. Them saying that just seemed descriptive of how he is looked at by that religion and honestly did not ruffle my feathers. I did not think twice about it when I read the article, until you posted. :dunno

It is painfully obvious that the mainstream media is giving deference to Islam that they do not afford any other religion.

You can believe that and I can believe it is exaggerated. :) I can also provide examples from the 2nd article you posted that were false examples given to prove his opinion. We all have them, we can all make cases for them, I agree to think your opinion is appreciated, but it is just that, your opinion. Mine differs.

Where is the exaggeration ? ? ? False examples ? ? ?

The media is treating Islam different from other religions.

They've never been afraid to offend Christians or Jews.

Easy targets and they normally don't behead people who offend them.

And those are ? ? ?

Last night ABC verbally described the new cover instead of simply showing a picture of it. I had to laugh out loud. Since when does a visual media verbally describe a picture they have access to. That is cowardice. Does anyone here honestly believe that they would verbally describe a newsworthy magazine cover with a caricature of Jesus instead of showing it?

Ok, I will say verbally describing it is stupid, either show it or not, but I also believe there were other covers done by that magazine that news outlets would not show. (They have done some pretty out there cover art...)

You made the claim....

Now it starts to get scary :

President Barack Obama has a moral responsibility to push back on the nation’s journalism community when it is planning to publish
anti-jihadi articles that might cause a jihadi attack against the nation's defenses forces, the White House’s press secretary said Jan. 12.

This is the President who in one breath said that Nakoula should be hunted down and thrown in prison for The Innocence of Muslims, the video he erroneously blamed for Bengazi. Then in the next breath he said that Sony should not have buckled to pressure from North Korea to pull The Interview. Now this. Does anyone but me see a couple of patterns forming here?
