If this is the new standard, then we also must also deny lifesaving medical care to anyone who has smoked a cigarette, drunk alcohol, eaten a donut, failed to exercise adequately, consumed soft drinks, not gotten adequate sleep, not eaten enough fiber, or any other action that predispose them to an early demise. Or is it that covid vaccination is no longer a health issue but rather a political issue?

Again...this would have made more sense (though still crappy) 9 months ago, but now, it really doesn't. The vaccines offer very little protection against the Omicron, and I heard this morning that estimates are that the Omicron accounts for 99% of current cases.

So is this following the science, or is it political? I've mentioned this before, but I seriously wonder how well much of the medical industry actually know what the science is. Doctors still not knowing how to treat COVID patients, and staff that is clearly not well informed of the real facts.

IMO, this is a very hateful and ugly decision by the hospital. And I suspect it's based in the nastiness that so many of the vaccine NAZIs have. I would even question whether it violates the Hippocratic Oath?
 
I'm sure there are several other factors which disqualifies potential recipients, lack of covid vaccine conveniently added to the list. Of course they'll cite medical risks as their reasoning.
