Biden, Harris accused of 'gaslighting' for suggesting Capitol Hill rioters, 'peaceful' BLM double standard

President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris are facing intense pushback for suggesting that there has been a double standard between how law enforcement treated the Capitol Hill rioters on Wednesday versus "peaceful" Black Lives Matter protesters last summer.

The left claims what happened at the Capitol was the worse attack on it since the war of 1812. The left seems to pick and choose what they want from history. Here's something I don't think many of you are aware of. In March 1954, four Puerto Rican nationalists shot 30 rounds from semi-automatic handguns from the Ladies Gallery into the House chamber as it was in session. Five Representatives were shot in the attack. Rep. Alvin Bentley (R-Michigan) was wounded the worst taking a round into the chest. Bentley was from Owosso, MI where we moved to from Augusta. I went to school with his son and daughter.

Then we can't forget the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11. There were 265 people on the plane and another 125 at the Pentagon who lost their lives in that attack.

The Democrats attempt to sensationalize any tragic event into something far worse than it really was, while also minimizing tragedy that was at the fault of their hands or political ideology.

I remember Beecher well. My dad had an uncle who lived there when the tornado hit in 1953.

I got there in 1962, and it hadn't healed much. Flint was a God awful town,,, the only saving grace is that everyone was scared of Beecher!
