Baby Back Ribs - Input Pls

Having company come visit for a week. Got a deal on some nice baby back ribs at Costco. Done ribs before in my Ronco rottisserie, but they weren't as "slow cooked, fall off the bone". With this heat wave, I AM NOT going to be outside by the grill. Although I hate to fire up the oven in the house, I would love to get any input from you chefs on the highway. TIA

Do them on the grill, but with indirect heat. I have no idea what kind of grill you have, but there several ways to achieve indirect heat. You won't have to stand out there all day while they're on the grill either. Just go out and check them every 15 minutes or so. If I see a picture of the grill and grill surface, I could tell you how to do the indirect heat.

Set oven to 350.
Cut Onion and Green pepper, place on top of ribs.
Sprinkle with S&P
Wrap and seal with Alum Foil.
Bake for 90 minutes

Fire up Grill
Place rack on grill and smother in favorite BBQ sauce
Once coating has cooked on, remove and eat.

In this heat wave, I bet I could wrap them in foil and toss them on the roof under a shady tree. Would that be considered indirect heat?

Sounds great. I'm going to try it

Dav, I always par boil mine. I know a lot of people don't agree but I was the bookkeeper for a restaurant that had fall off the bone delicious ribs, they par boiled them for about 20 minutes, let them cool and removed the membrane on the back side, it usually just peels off, sometimes it doesn't want to let go.

The BBQ sauce is the secret, let them marinate in it for a couple of hours before you put them in the oven.
