Truly, I turned the channel at the beginning because of the crowd reaction. I was afraid of what it would be, and I just am not in a mood to sit through it. It turns my stomach to see circumstances such as this become political grandstanding.
Later, I'll have to go back and watch it so I can give an honest assessment.

However, tonight I viewed his words from my children's eyes. And they were comforted and at that moment that's all that really mattered.

From the little I saw, he didn't touch on the right/left arguments. However, his basis of opinion on America and what its worth is happens to been on the polar opposite from mine. When he says something that might be agreed upon, I have to go back and realize that his foundation is nowhere near what mine is. He is constantly trying to change this country into something unAmerican and I will always think his words are coming from that idea. I would like to think this "memorial" was something else but watch in the next few days and weeks and you'll see the true agenda coming out. Mark may words that he will back legislation that limits talk radio and push new laws restricting gun rights. All this will be masked under "Your protection".

Foxmeister said:What was with all the t-shirts they had placed on the back of the chairs prior to the memorial starting? Funny how so many in the audience put them on before the memorial got underway.
The T-shirts said, "Together We Thrive" Now tell me that was apolitical.
