I think I'm going to meet the BFF from Chatt at the Apple Festival next Sunday. What is the quickest way from here?

575 is what I was thinking, but wasn't sure since I'm so close to Cartersville. Didn't know if it would be quicker to go 75 to Dalton then east.

Be prepared for a crowd -- a BIG crowd!!

yes be prepared for lots of traffic as well. It's family weekend at my kiddo's school in Young Harris but I am not going so luckily I will not have to fight that traffic.

Nope Dalton is way out of the way. But you can go up 75 to State Route 20 in Cartersville and drive over to 575 (Canton). It's a nice drive. I sometimes cut through on the road that goes by Reinhardt College(hwy 108) from SR20, it brings you out at 575 in Jasper. Either way they are both nice drives.

Thanks! I may go out 20 to 575. If I go to 75 to take 575 the whole way it'll take forever. It takes me 20-25 mins just to get to Hiram.

We just got back from Blue Ridge. HAD A BLAST! Anywho- we went up 411 using the GPS. It is much quicker for us to go that way than up 75 or 575. We were gonna grab a bite in Ellijay but changed our minds seeing the traffic. My best advice is to go EARLY!

575 is your easiest and best way to go. I love the fact that once I turn on 575 from Barrett Pkwy I don't make another turn until I turn into the college when I go see the kiddo =)
