Anything special we need to do?

So, now that I have fish that actually lived through the summer, now what do I do with them? Winter wise.

Anyone know anything about what we need to do for Duke the rooster?
 
Duke needs a place to stay warm (a little house in his coop with some hay, maybe) and the fish need only to not have their water completely freeze over.

Did I tell you that a number of my fish re-appeared ... and hubby and the kids bought me 18 new ones? :))

Well I guess I'll have to get my hubs to build that other pond for me. You know for when you have to thin out the herd (or is that school?) :whistle
I let hubs know about the little house for Duke, we'll get it done tomorrow. Thanks

Uh, one time... there was this lake... And it was right outside of town. We used to go fishing and swimming and canoein' in it. And, uh, see, one November, this big flock of ducks came in.. and landed on that lake. And then the temperature dropped so fast that the lake just froze right there. And they... er... the ducks... they... flew off, you see, and they took that lake right with them. Now they say that lake is somewhere over in Georgia. Can you imagine that?

Heated fish pond?



I'd be happy for some rain to fill my pond back up. My fish are growing legs.
