Amazing Pencil Art

I ran across an article today about an amazing pencil artist. His art is all done in pencil. What I find most amazing is that it looks like photography. One, in particular, shows water splashing off a young man's face and it's stunningly realistic.

I saw that some comments on the website claimed that the pictures were not "art." My own feeling is that yes, it is art. This artist is fascinated by details and the minutia.

Those commenters saying that's not art probably think blobs of paint on a canvas and a crucifix in urine are art.

Man it is hard to believe all that was done in pencil, they look like photos.
